This is a very beautifully written novella about Blake,  who escapes his town to get over and clear his head over a devastating heartbreak.  He literally runs in Lexi,  a mysterious and sweet girl who promises that she will make him get over his heartbreak.  However she has a stipulation that Blake should not fall in love with her.  what happens when Blake and Lexi spend time together and how does Lexi exactly help him?  Lexi has some secrets of her own and now it's Blake's turn to repay the favour.

I really hope that Mel Walker turns this beautiful story into a full novel.
